Nuria Rodríguez-Ortega holds a PhD in Art History, a Specialist degree in Digital Humanities, and a master’s degree in Cognitive Sciences (UMA). She is a Full Professor of Art History and Head of the Art History Department at the University of Málaga, where she teaches courses in digital humanities, digital cultural heritage, and digital art history. She is the founder and director of the iArtHis_Lab Research Group (iarthislab.eu), an international laboratory focused on studying art history and artistic culture through digital, computational, and techno-critical perspectives. She is the director of the Telefónica-UMA Chair (5G, Digital Culture and Next-Generation Technologies for Society). From 2017 to 2021, she served as President of the Sociedad Internacional de Humanidades Digitales Hispánicas (HDH), and in October 2021, she was named Honorary President of HDH. She is also a member of the Academia Europaea in the Musicology and Art History section. Since 2016, she has been the academic director of the Summer School on Digital Art History (DAHSS). Throughout my journey, I have been involved in the production of internationally significant sports events, such as the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games. Since 2018, I have been teaching in the Master’s in Production at the Complutense University of Madrid and at the RTVE Institute, sharing my expertise across a range of subjects.

In 2023, I developed a course on artificial intelligence for media as part of the RTVE Institute's "Haz" project, which examines the impact of new technologies in the audiovisual sector. The following year, in 2024, I served as director, producer, and writer for the UHD project "Tribute to Beethoven’s 9th Symphony," a pioneering audiovisual experience.
